Yang Guoxin
ang Guoxin (1951 Hubei Wuhan) is a talented but little-known painter and artist based in Guangzhou, in southern China. He studied the old Russian realist style and then moved on to experiment with a variety of styles and techniques, from blurred portraits to still lifes of fruits, to pop figures and images that look like advertisements or graphic illustrations to inventive and clever sculpture work.

Yang Guoxi graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Wuhan Normal College. He now is a professor at the College of Fine Arts South China Normal University. He works and lives in Guangzhou.
